This film spool is the replacement take-up spool for the Leica CL and the Minolta CLE, and it is more robustly designed than the original.

If your Leica CL needs a repair because the film no longer advances, the take-up spool is usually the cause. Over the decades, the original plastic becomes brittle and often breaks at the lower mount, causing the film transport to fail.

    I really like this product. I have received some alternative pieces from other manufacturers which have not impressed me. These ones do. I have passed them on to my repairman. I tried following the video on installing these and was unable to remove the black part that allows the long bolt to be removed. So I will have to await giving a final review. My CL is not important. WHAT IS THE IMPORTANT IS HOW MUCH I LIKE THIS REPLACEMENT PART.
