Description
The 22.5V MN122 battery, also called PX72 or 15F20 depending on the manufacturer, has long been out of production, yet many classic devices still need it today. This adapter steps in for it: it holds 15 inexpensive and widely available LR54 button cells and delivers the required 22.5 volts. The adapter arrives fully loaded, so you simply insert it into your device just like the original battery.
Frequently asked questions
22.5 volts from button cells, does that really work? Yes. Fifteen LR54 cells in series produce the voltage of the original Petrix Nr. 72. All fifteen are included.
Which devices is the adapter intended for? For anything that used a V72PX, PX72, MN122, 15F20, EPX72 or RM-72. The complete list of designations is in the technical details above; it is long because every manufacturer assigned its own numbers.
How do I buy replacements when the cells are empty? You need fifteen LR54 cells. They are available online in inexpensive multipacks, and you keep the adapter itself.

Support a young startup
You want innovative solutions instead of mass-produced goods? With us, you don’t buy from an anonymous wholesaler, but directly from the founders. We (Anto & Vladi) started our startup in 2019 in Würzburg to help you revive analog photography.
Developed by engineers
Designed in Würzburg
We don’t sell anything we wouldn’t use ourselves. We are engineers and camera nerds, and we know that precision is especially important in camera technology. That’s why we design our parts ourselves in Würzburg, and we print and assemble most of them here too. Batteries and rechargeables come from other manufacturers, for example Varta.
