A missing rear cap on your Canon FD or nFD lens is more than just a nuisance. While the front element is fairly forgiving, scratches or dust on the rear element often lead to visible image defects. This cap is made as a replacement for the Canon FD-System and protects the glass and mechanics of your primes and zooms from dirt and damage in your camera bag.
