Old M42 lenses can take a lot, but the rear side with the rear element is exposed as soon as the original cap is missing. We make this rear cap specifically for the M42 standard, and it keeps dust and scratches away from classics like the Helios-44 or Takumar 50 mm. Simply screw it on, done.
