The Exakta Varex is a classic of camera engineering, but when you buy a used body, one small but crucial part is often missing: the film spool. We know this problem from our own experience, which is why we make the replacement ourselves.
So that the spool is not mixed up with the similar-looking but technically different spools of the Exa series (color code green), we make it in blue right from the start. This makes it easy to tell apart in your camera bag. The newly made material is sturdy and durable, not brittle old plastic. This turns your display-case camera back into a workhorse.
