Description

The built-in light meter of your Rolleiflex 2.8E, like those of the 2.8F, 3.5E, 3.5F, and 3.5T, uses a selenium cell. These components have a limited service life, which is shortened by constant exposure to light. The cover simply clips on and shields the cell when the camera is not in use, so the light meter remains functional for as long as possible during storage or transport.
