Description

The Planar and Xenotar lenses of the Rolleiflex 2.8 models are among the best of their time, but the proprietary Bay-III bayonet makes filter procurement difficult and costly. This adapter places a common filter thread in front of the bayonet, allowing you to use standard screw filters.

The adapter locks into the inner bayonet of the taking lens. This way, you can use modern, coated filters that are often optically better than the old originals—such as contrast filters for black-and-white photography or ND filters for long exposures. Since the adapter only occupies the inner bayonet, a lens hood hooked onto the outer bayonet remains usable.
