- Replacement for the banned PX25: The original mercury batteries (V25PX) are banned. This adapter takes on their shape in the battery compartment.
- Standard button cells instead of a special battery: Runs on 3x standard LR44 or SR44 (AG13).
- Voltage stays within range: 3 cells deliver 4.5 V instead of the original 4.05 V. The Kiev 60 and most other devices handle the slight increase without any problems.
Compatibility
- Kiev 60 TTL Prism
- Kiev 6C (TTL Prism)
- Kiev Gold 6s TTL Prism
Here is a complete list of all cameras that take the 3RZ5 battery type.

Frequently asked questions
Are batteries included? No, this adapter is supplied without cells. You need three LR44 or SR44, which are available everywhere.
Does the adapter fit my Kiev prism? It is built for the TTL prisms of the Kiev 60 and 6S and replaces the types PX25, V25PX, RPX25, A25PX and EPX25. If you are unsure which cell your prism used, send us a photo of the battery compartment.
Why three cells? Three cells of 1.5V each together deliver the voltage of the original 3RZ5. Silver oxide cells also hold their voltage more steadily than alkaline cells.

After a purchase we ask for a review by email. New reviews appear automatically; we read them afterwards and never remove one because of its star rating. “Verified purchase” means the review came through the review link of an order in our shop. “Verified” marks older reviews that our previous review service, Judge.me, had labelled as verified. We are Anto & Vladi
Support a young startup
You want innovative solutions instead of mass-produced goods? With us, you don’t buy from an anonymous wholesaler, but directly from the founders. We (Anto & Vladi) started our startup in 2019 in Würzburg to help you revive analog photography.
Developed by engineers
Designed in Würzburg
We don’t sell anything we wouldn’t use ourselves. We are engineers and camera nerds, and we know that precision is especially important in camera technology. That’s why we design our parts ourselves in Würzburg, and we print and assemble most of them here too. Batteries and rechargeables come from other manufacturers, for example Varta.
