Most Nikon F prism finders have a rectangular eyepiece, for which hardly any accessories are available today. This adapter changes the attachment from a simple slide-on system to a Ø 18 mm thread.
This lets you use almost all accessories made for standard-size Nikon eyepieces up to 1982, before the HP DE-3 appeared.
