That’s because the original 1.35V mercury batteries (PX1/MR50) are no longer available and 1.5V alkaline batteries fool the electronics. This adapter solves the problem once and for all. It allows the use of an affordable 675 zinc-air hearing aid battery, which naturally provides a constant voltage of 1.35V – exactly what your camera was designed for. The set comes directly with the matching batteries to you.
