Description

Get the right battery for your Minolta X-700 or Nikon FE here as a button cell, with no adapter—the LR44 or SR44 itself, depending on the variant. The LR44 is the classic button cell and is used in countless analog cameras such as the Minolta X-700, Nikon FE, and Olympus OM-2. As an alkaline battery, its voltage gradually drops over its service life, which is not a problem for many cameras with a bridge circuit.

Alkaline or silver oxide? If you need maximum runtime and a constant voltage (important for accurate light meters in some cameras), choose the SR44 (silver oxide). The LR44 is the affordable “bread-and-butter” solution. The 4x SR44 multi-pack is worthwhile if you power several cameras or want to build up a supply.

Replacement for mercury batteries (1.35 V): Old mercury cells (PX675) are no longer manufactured. If your camera requires 1.35 V (and cannot tolerate 1.5 V), choose Type 675 hearing aid batteries (zinc-air).
