Description

No adapter — here you get the battery itself: LR44 or SR44 button cells, depending on the variant. The LR44 is the classic among button cells and is used in countless analog cameras like the Minolta X-700, Nikon FE, or Olympus OM-2. As an alkaline battery, its voltage slowly decreases over its lifetime — no problem for many cameras with bridge circuits.

Alkaline or silver oxide? If you need maximum runtime and constant voltage (important for accurate light meters in some cameras), choose the SR44 (silver oxide). The LR44 is the affordable "bread-and-butter" solution. The stock pack with 4x SR44 is worthwhile if you power multiple cameras or want to keep a supply on hand.

Replacement for mercury batteries (1.35 V): Old mercury cells (PX675) are no longer produced. If your camera strictly requires 1.35 V (and cannot handle 1.5 V), opt for Type 675 hearing aid batteries (zinc-air).
