Good to know

Without a battery, the shutter fires at 1/30 s at f/2.8, with no metered automatic exposure. [1]

Attaching a flash unit switches the camera to flash exposure automatically; for normal auto exposure, the flash has to be removed. [1]

On B, the lens stays wide open at f/2.8. [1]
