The information comes from Lomography's manuals and technical specifications (as of September 2026). On the LomoApparat, Simple Use and Fisheye, the battery only powers the flash, so you can still take pictures without it.

With CR2 it's worth taking a closer look: the Lomo MC-A runs on a single CR2 and, according to Lomography, also accepts the rechargeable 3.7 V CR2 battery. The Lomo'Instant Automat, Automat Glass and Square Glass, on the other hand, take two CR2 at 3 V each. With two 3.7 V rechargeables they would reach up to 8.4 V instead of 6 V when freshly charged, and we have not found any approval for this from Lomography. For the Lomomatic 110, too, Lomography only specifies 3 V.
