- Secure hold without overlapping: The barb system prevents the negatives from slipping or sticking together during inversion agitation.
- Comes apart for film removal: Turn the reel counterclockwise to separate it into two parts, so you can remove the wet sheet films without damaging them.
- For Universal and Multi-Reel tanks: In the Paterson Universal (PTP115) with the light trap and the original funnel, in the Multi-Reel tanks PTP116/117/118 directly with the original funnel.

Description
With this reel you develop 3x4 inch sheet film (Quarter Plate) in the Paterson Universal Tank without investing in an expensive special tank. With the included light trap, development works just like with roll film: you only load the sheet films in the dark, and do everything else in dimmed light.
In the larger Multi-Reel tanks (PTP116, PTP117, PTP118), you insert the reel without the light trap and close the tank with the original funnel. There, you change the chemicals in the dark.

- In the dark (darkroom or changing bag), load the sheet films into the reel.
- Place the reel with the film in the tank and fit the light trap.
- Switch on the dimmed light, fit the original funnel, pour in the developer and start timing, then stop bath and fixer as usual.
