  • Saves battery in standby mode: For the models 35, 35 S, and 35 T, the case darkens the light meter cell, preventing the slow battery drain through the CdS cell.

Description

Anyone who puts a Rollei 35 in their bag knows the problem: the body is small, sturdy, yet still sensitive to scratches. This two-piece hard case is specially designed by us for the compact design of the Rollei 35 series and is inspired by the design of the original Rollei 35 leather half case. You screw the bottom part firmly into the camera’s tripod socket, where it stays as a grippy half case. For transport, you snap the lid on, and the camera is protected all around.

A functional detail by the way: the cover darkens the light meter. For the classic models with a CdS cell, this stops power consumption in standby mode, so the battery doesn’t slowly drain. If you don’t have a suitable strap, go for the version with the quick-release strap.
