The Canon AE Finder FN is part of the modular system of the New F-1 and can be swapped for another finder in seconds. This cover fits directly onto the underside of the removed FN finder and covers the glass surfaces as well as the electronic contacts (on the AE Finder). This way you can store the finder safely in your bag when switching between waist-level finder and prism finder.
