- Rollei 35 SE (not for Rollei 35 S or Classic)
- Rollei 35 TE (not for Rollei 35 T)
Not suitable for Rollei 35 LED, A110, or E110. These cameras take the battery directly in a round compartment and therefore require the cylindrical PX27 adapter. The adapter on this page is a square battery holder and does not fit in those cameras.

Description
Finding the right battery for your Rollei 35 SE or 35 TE is difficult because the original 5.6V PX27 mercury battery has been off the market for years. This adapter holds four standard SR44 button cells and brings them to the height of the old cell so the contact fits properly. Together, they provide 6.2V.
Frequently asked questions
“Does the adapter also fit the Rollei 35 S, 35 T, or Classic?”
No. It has been tested for the Rollei 35 SE and Rollei 35 TE. The models without an E in their name have a different battery compartment.
“What about the Rollei 35 LED or the A110?”
Not those either. These two cameras take the battery directly in a round compartment; the cylindrical PX27 adapter is designed for them.
“The adapter is too tight with four SR44 cells or cannot be inserted. What should I do?”
Remove one SR44 and replace it with the included SR43. It has the same diameter and voltage but is 1.2 mm thinner. Still, try four SR44 cells first: with three SR44 and one SR43, the set lasts less long because the smaller SR43 determines the runtime.
“6.2V instead of 5.6V: Will the exposure still be correct?”
Yes. The exposure meters in the SE/TE series are electronically regulated. The small voltage difference is negligible in practice, and the cameras handle it without any problems.
“Can I use LR44 instead of SR44?”
Yes, LR44 cells have the same dimensions as SR44 cells. SR44 silver oxide cells have a more consistent discharge curve, which is why they are included.
“Are the button cells included?”
Yes, every variant includes four SR44 and one SR43 cell.
