Description

The later models in the Minox 35 series (MB, ML, MDC) feature updated electronics and handle modern 6V voltages without any problems. The real issue is often finding the special PX28 battery. Made from technical plastic, this adapter solves the logistical problem: it lets you use four standard button cells (LR44). It serves as a precise spacer that stacks the cells and ensures the correct contact pressure in the battery compartment.

Frequently asked questions

Does the adapter also fit the other Minox 35 models? This one is designed for models with a PX28 compartment: MB, ML, and MDC. Older Minox 35 models with PX27 require a different adapter, which you can also find from us. If in doubt, send us your model.

Which cells go inside? Four LR44 or SR44 cells, which together provide the 6V of the original PX28. Four LR44 batteries are included.

How long does a set of batteries last? That depends on how often you take readings. Alkaline cells last several months with normal use. If the camera is stored for a longer period, remove the cells so they cannot leak.
