Description

The 4,5V PX21 battery is hard to find these days, and when you do find it, it is expensive. Without power, your Praktica no longer meters exposure and the electronics stay dead.

The adapter holds three LR44 button cells and brings them to the shape and size of the old PX21. You put it in the battery compartment, done. Three cells of 1,5V each add up to the 4,5V that the light meter and the electronics need.

Frequently asked questions

Does the adapter fit every Praktica? It has the outer dimensions of the original PX21 and fits any battery compartment that took this cell. Tested models are LLC, PLC, VLC and EE. If your model is not in the list above, write to us and tell us which camera you have.

Which batteries do I need and where can I get replacements? The adapter holds three LR44 button cells, which together provide the original 4,5V. The three cells are included. You can get LR44 at any drugstore and online, so you are not tied to any specialist supplier.

What is the difference between the variants? With “Adapter + 3x battery” you get the adapter with cells. The set additionally includes the battery compartment cover for the Praktica LLC, which is often missing or broken. The complete variant also contains the light seal set.
