Without the cover, no current flows from the battery, so the light meter and shutter of your Minox 35 GT, EL, or GL remain inactive. This replacement made of conductive plastic closes the circuit and is installed like the original part.

Note: Due to the electrical resistance of the material, the camera’s battery test button may no longer respond as usual. However, this does not affect the function of the light meter or shutter—you can take photos normally.
