- Replacement for the hard-to-find original clamp-on hood: Reproduction of the classic clamp-on hoods for the Mamiya C series, covering both the taking and viewing lenses.
- Less flare, more contrast: Reduces stray light from the sides and provides better contrast in your medium-format shots.
- With integrated filter adapter: The screw-in version provides a 62mm front thread on the lens’s 46mm filter thread — modern filters for a classic camera.
Compatibility
Suitable for Mamiya C-series cameras (C2, C22, C220, C220f, C3, C33, C330, C330f, C330s).
Variants 1 and 3 clamp onto the lens barrel and are independent of the filter thread:
- Variant 1: 55mm f/4.5, 65mm f/3.5, 80mm f/2.8, 105mm f/3.5 D / DS
- Variant 3: 135mm f/4.5, Super 180mm f/4.5, 250mm f/6.3
Variant 2 screws in and has a 46mm thread. Sekor lenses were made with three different filter threads — the same focal length may have a different thread depending on the version:
| Lens | Version | Filter thread | Variant 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 55mm f/4.5 | black | 46mm | fits directly |
| 80mm f/2.8 | black, also S | 46mm | fits directly |
| 105mm f/3.5, D, DS | black | 46mm | fits directly |
| 80mm f/2.8 | Chrome | 40.5mm | with a 40.5-to-46mm step-up ring |
| 80mm f/3.7 | black | 40.5mm | with a 40.5-to-46mm step-up ring |
| 105mm f/3.5 | Chrome | 40.5mm | with a 40.5-to-46mm step-up ring |
| 65mm f/3.5 | Chrome and black | 49mm | not recommended |
A 40.5-to-46mm step-up ring enlarges the opening and does not affect the image. We advise against using the reverse setup: On the 65mm f/3.5 with its 49mm thread, a step-down ring reduces the opening in front of a wide-angle lens and causes corner shading. Variant 1 is the right choice for the 65mm. On most Sekor lenses, the filter thread is located on the front ring — check there if in doubt.

Description
The original clamp-on hoods for your Mamiya C330 and the other C-series cameras are now almost impossible to find — we manufacture the replacement ourselves. Variants 1 and 3 are based on the design of the classic clamp-on hoods and cover both the taking and viewing lenses. Variant 2 is the modern alternative for the taking lens: It screws directly into the 46mm filter thread and provides a 62mm thread on the front — allowing you to use common filter sizes with your Mamiya lenses.
