Description

With this compact rewinder you transfer 35mm film from one cartridge to another while keeping track of the exact frame count via the frame counter. Especially handy for half-frame: there, a 36-exposure film gives you 72 shots, often more than you would want to shoot before developing. With the rewinder you simply split the film in half and can develop a shorter roll sooner.

In the same way, you can share a long roll with a friend or portion bulk film into cartridges, each with an exactly known length. The film runs guided between the two cartridge chambers; threading is done in a changing bag or darkroom, and the tool then takes care of the rewinding and counting.
