With this compact rewinder, you transfer 35mm film from one cartridge to another while keeping exact frame count in view via the frame counter. Especially handy for half-frame: a 36-exposure roll yields 72 shots – often more than you want to shoot before developing. With the rewinder, you simply halve the film and can develop a shorter roll earlier.

You can also split a long roll with a friend or portion bulk film into cartridges – each with precisely known length. The film runs guided between the two cartridge chambers; threading is done in a changing bag or darkroom, and the rewinding with counting is handled by the tool.
