Good to know

Without a battery, the shutter fires at 1/500 s and the automatic shutter speed control doesn’t work. [2]

The manual recommends not leaving the shutter cocked when you’re not using the camera, because the electronic exposure control stays switched on and keeps drawing power from the battery. [1]

For flash photography, the flash mark on the exposure ring sets a fixed shutter speed of 1/30 s. [1]
