Good to know
Without a battery, you can’t take any pictures. [1]
If the pop-up flash is held down while you switch the camera on, the camera won’t work; once you release the flash, you can wake the camera up by opening the lens cover again or by moving the zoom lever. [1]
Close the sliding lens cover slowly, and never force it over the lens while the lens is still extending. [1]
