Nordic Lab is the engineering and design lab of Sasha Yakovlev. He develops minimalist, durable tools for analog film and darkroom photography: developing reels, film loaders, developing tanks and test printers, and he shares his designs openly with the community. His focus is on color film and RA-4 printing in the darkroom.
We manufacture selected Nordic Lab designs under license and with his express permission here in Germany and ship them quickly within the EU. Currently, these are his film loaders for Paterson and for Jobo developing reels, each for 35mm and medium format. Sasha provides the original print files for free on his Ko-fi page, so if you'd like to print them yourself, you're warmly invited to.
