Good to know
Without a battery, the shutter fires mechanically at 1/90 s only, whatever the shutter speed dial is set to, and the meter won’t work. [1]
The battery compartment sits inside the mirror box, so to change the battery you have to take the lens off and flip the mirror up. [1]
To switch the light meter off, fold the film advance lever back against the body. [1]
