Good to know
Without batteries: without the additional AA batteries for the motor, the film won’t run; the PX625 cells power the light meter and shutter priority. [1]
The light meter needs two PX625 cells at 1.35 V each; the film drive and power zoom need an additional six AA cells. [1]
For focusing with the split-image indicator, the manual recommends zooming to the longest focal length. [1]
