New: All analogue photography shops in German-speaking countries on one map
Where can you still get film, a used camera, or simply the right battery today? Until now, that question lived in forum threads, outdated city directories, and the memories of people who knew the shop from years ago. Our new directory brings them together in one place: 91 analogue photography shops and specialist mail-order retailers from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland on one map — searchable, filterable, and featuring ratings from the community.
How to find your shop
All shops at a glance. Map data: OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).
Enter your postcode in the search, and you’ll see all shops within the surrounding area, sorted by distance — in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. If there’s no shop nearby, filter by mail order: 34 of the 91 addresses ship their products. Use the filters to narrow the selection by product range: film, used cameras, accessories, instant photography, and lab supplies.
Only shops that genuinely stock analogue products
The selection was strict, and that was intentional. We included shops that carry a genuine analogue range — film, used cameras, and accessories. Drugstore and electronics chains with a single film on the shelf, marketplaces, businesses that only buy used equipment, and manufacturers’ brand stores were left out. Pure labs and repair-only workshops are also not included here: they have their own directories.
The large chains are included, but hidden by default. If you want to see them, enable them using the Shop type filter.
Reviews with real faces
Enter your postcode, choose a radius, and filter by product range.
You can give each shop one to five stars and leave a brief comment. Reviews are submitted using a shop account — so nobody can artificially boost or drag down a business with a hundred fake votes. Registration is free, and you don’t have to buy anything.

The list is powered by you
Is a shop missing? Is an address no longer correct? Write it directly in the comments on the page, without registering. We check every tip and add the information. Shops can also confirm their own listing — verified listings are marked with a green tick.
Our research is necessarily less systematic when it comes to small, owner-operated shops without a major website. And those are often the good ones.
That makes three
The shop directory is the third directory, following the repair workshops (283 in 30 countries) and the film labs (more than 100 across the German-speaking region). Together, they answer the three questions that kept coming up in support: Who can still repair this for me, where can I get my film developed, and where can I actually buy it? All three are free, with no paid placements and no advertising.
