If you use the SMC Pentax-A 645 45mm f/2.8, you know the problem with the original RH-RA70 hood: it only slips on and tends to loosen or get lost. We solved this design issue by equipping the hood with a 67mm thread. It screws directly into the lens’s filter thread and sits absolutely securely. Made from technical plastic, it’s sturdy enough for daily use and reliably protects the front lens.
