This lens board was specially developed for the precise mounting of enlarging lenses with a 39mm screw thread. Its special feature is the 15mm recess (recession). This recess is crucial to optimally position short focal length enlarging lenses (typically 50mm, but also 40mm/45mm) in the enlarger. It brings the lens closer to the negative plane, which is essential for correct focusing, best sharpness performance, and even illumination of the image, especially when the bellows travel of the enlarger is not sufficient to naturally achieve this short distance.

It is compatible with all Durst enlargers of the M series (e.g. M605, M670) and the Laborator series (e.g. 1200, 138). This way, you can perfectly integrate your favorite optics into your Durst system and fully exploit the potential of your equipment.

This precisely manufactured lens board is the ideal solution to optimally use your 39mm enlarging lenses – especially those with short focal lengths – in your Durst M or Laborator enlarger.
