The original Olympus OM-1 (and OM-1 MD) uses the removable "Accessory Shoe 1". When no flash is mounted, the center contact is exposed and susceptible to oxidation. Our cover fits precisely into the shoe, protects the contact, and ensures a well-maintained appearance for your camera. Please make sure you really have an OM-1 (not OM-1n), as the flash shoes have different shapes.
