Old M42 lenses are often extremely durable, but the rear with the rear element is unprotected once the original cap is missing. We specially made this rear cap for the M42 standard. It is made of durable PLA+ and reliably protects your classics like the Helios-44 or Takumar 50mm from dust and scratches. Just screw it on and the lens is ready for transport.
