This is a replacement for Kodak "K" batteries, which have not been manufactured for at least 25 years. Many of the 110 Instamatics and Minolta Autopaks require this battery for proper exposure control. These batteries were originally sold by Energizer and Duracell as alkaline batteries.
We have printed an adapter that converts 3 standard and inexpensive LR44 batteries into a "K" battery with a voltage of 4.5V. The outer casing is screwed together so that it can be opened with a Phillips screwdriver, allowing the three button cells inside to be replaced. The button cells are available in almost every supermarket, drugstore, and hardware store.
