The Pentax 17 is the first truly new analog camera in about 30 years. Reason enough to celebrate for us here at Team Ausgeknipst, too. Unfortunately, Pentax didn't think to design a lens hood, so we helped out a little.

The rectangular lens hood has a standard Ø 40.5mm filter thread and fits perfectly on the HD Pentax Lens HF 1:3.5 25mm Traditional lens. We took the dimensions from the lens hood for the classic Olympus Pen-F 25mm half-frame lens. The rectangular design allows the viewfinder to be used right down to the bottom edge and the lens hood provides reliable protection against sunlight from above, even in landscape format.

A lens cap is optionally available for the lens hood.

The quick-focus ring (also called a focus tab) is simply clamped onto the lens and allows easy focusing with one hand, as you know it from your analog Leica, Voigtländer, Hasselblad & other rangefinders.

Compatible with:

Pentax 17 analog camera
HD Pentax Lens HF 1:3.5 25mm Traditional lens

Wie immer, solide Kopien oder sogar Neuentwürfe von unauffindbaren Kleinteilen von alten Kameras, schnell und gut.

Pentax 17 Lens Hood

Not a bad product. I wish it was little less "plastic" feel. Could hopefully have a Len Hood Cover Cap in the future?
