The Pentax 17 is the first truly new analog camera in about 30 years. Also a reason for us at Team Ausgeknipst to celebrate. Unfortunately, Pentax didn't think to design a lens hood, so we helped out a bit.
The lens hood simply slips onto the focus ring and rotates with the focusing.
An optional lens cap is available for the lens hood.
For those who prefer it more minimalist, there is also a quick focus ring (also called Focus Tab). It simply clamps onto the lens and allows easy focusing with one hand, just like you know from your analog Leica, Voigtländer, Hasselblad & other rangefinders.
