Description:

This adapter solves a well-known problem for many Pentacon Six and Exakta 66 users: the original prism finders are often dark, expensive, and do not show the full image. With this adapter, you can use the widely available and high-quality TTL prism finder of the Kiev 60/66 on your camera. The result is a significantly brighter viewfinder image that shows 100% of the ground glass and enables reliable TTL metering. Please note that Pentacon Six accessories (e.g. angle finders) do not fit the Kiev prism.

Note for Exakta 66 users: The Exakta 66 system uses a mechanical cam for aperture value transmission, which is only present on the original Schneider-Kreuznach lenses. If you use the Kiev TTL finder with this adapter on an Exakta 66, the metering works as an uncoupled measurement. You measure the light and transfer the values manually. This is not relevant for the Pentacon Six, as it does not have this system. The advantage is that with the Kiev prism, metering also works with third-party lenses (without the cam).
