Who we are: From studying to foanding a company
Everything started when Antonio (right) gifted me (Vladi, left) a Minolta 7xi and awakened my love for analog photography. Between then and now lie 5 years of studying plastic engineering, founding a company, and a lot of hard work, which is now crystallized in our small webshop: www.ausgeknipst.de.
Our mission: To make analog photography accessible to everyone
In a world saturated with digital technologies, our goal is not only to keep analog photography alive but also to breathe new life into it. We know from our own experience how frustrating it can be when you can't find accessories or replacement parts for a beloved but older camera. That's why we offer a wide range of accessories for analog cameras – batteries and battery adapters, light seals, and lens caps are among our bestsellers.
Currently, we have over 400 original products in our range, and more are added every week. We primarily design what we ourselves and our customers, who continuously send us product suggestions, need.
We consciously forgo common "chinaware" and produce everything ourselves in our office/3D printing farm. Our product range extends over famous camera series such as Leica M & LTM, Canon A, Nikon F, Olympus OM, Minolta SRT and X, Hasselblad 500, as well as "niche" models like the Nikon Nikonos underwater cameras.
Each product is designed, manufactured, and tested for quality and functionality in our facility in the heart of Franconia to ensure it meets the demands of passionate photographers.
Our quality parts "made in Germany" are sold internationally, helping users around the world keep their analog treasures operational.
Introduction of our product categories
Light seals
Almost every analog camera you buy online has porous light seals that need to be replaced, otherwise they can lead to light leaks and, in the worst case, make all your pictures unusable. If you want to have the light seals replaced by a professional, you can quickly spend 50 € or more, and the waiting times are getting longer and longer. Alternative: Do it yourself with our universal light sealing set.
It fits all common 35mm SLR cameras, whether Canon AE-1, Minolta X-700, or Olympus OM-1, and includes everything you need – from new seals to practical accessories like spatulas and toothpicks.

Batteries & Battery Adapters
Are the light seals replaced, the analog photographer usually faces another problem: batteries that could be bought in any camera store 30 years ago are now hard to find or are even prohibited from being sold because they contain toxic mercury.
In our online store, we therefore sell Battery adapter for the most common models that allow you to convert standard button cells and hearing aid batteries to the correct format.
3D-printed covers, spare parts, and handles
Another major pillar of our business is the original design and production of Accessories for popular analog cameras. In the image above, you can see, for example, a Leica M3 with (from left to right): grip, quick-change spool, lens hood, rewind lever, thumb rest, flash sync socket covers, rubber eyecup, and our film box for 3x 35mm films.
